Larry Gitlin is a digital media consultant, an entrepreneur and intrapreneur, a media business product developer, a media strategy consultant, and a digital media marketer / audience builder with a specialty in both traditional broadcast as well as internet-delivered digital media. 

Larry was a technologist whose deep understanding and experience represents the intersections and integration between software and firmware, multiplatform applications, data transfer through telco, wireless, cable, and satellite, and revenue generation through content creation and distribution.

 

Larry has created and co-created several successful start-ups, and built company divisions that contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in market capitalization for new company start-ups as well as in the Fortune 500 alike.

 

Those successes include INTERVU purchased by Akamai for three billion dollars, ZVUE corporation with a financial raise of over 100 million dollars and market cap of a quarter billion dollars, and QWEST Communications, a twenty-one billion dollar telco pioneering in voice, video, and data transmission (triple play) as well as digital media.

 

Larry has been a key player in three companies becoming public entities within ten years. Prior to that, Larry was an award-winning filmmaker and TV executive and, early in his career, a session musician in Los Angeles.

Many Accounts were brought onboard the Stentor Connect reseller service and they werew then bought over by Energis who are owned by the Veridon Group.

Originally the customer base bought over by Telecom Eireann belonged to Atlas Communications N.I., who specialised in PBX installations and ongoing maintenance phone equipment across Northern Ireland.

3.   Sold High Speed Broadband and              Leased Line Solutions.

1.  Supplied 65% of Appointments in Northern Ireland and Scotland for global telecoms switched based carrier Econophone providing B2B and Corporate opportunities not just for Econophone field sales in Scotland & N. Ireland but across the United Kingdom.

Sold on phone and provided face to face opportunities including face to face genuine sales opportunities such as:

After an agreed large sale of Zvue Mp4 Media Players & Associated Content with Index Stores with 120 UK High Street stores and a National catalogue 'Ken' was given the opportunity to be 'Handheld Entertainment's' "Assistant Director of European Operations'.

At the same time as promoting and selling the globes first Mp4 downloadable player he also opened up another business called "The Appointments Bureau", settng up appointments for Telecoms Sales people to enter Voice, Broadband and Pbx hardware sales opportunities in NI, GB and Republic of Ireland.

Stentor Connect / Plc.

Corporate Sales Accounts Manager.

Due to my success and positively developing reputation in the local Irish telecoms industry and the fact that one of 'K. Wright Communications Limted', competitors 'Stentor Connect / Plc', were loosing a lot of business to 'K. Wright Communications' via Econophone a offer was made to buy 'K. Wright Comms' out and payroll myself 'Ken Wright' with a strong basis salary, car driver, expense account and ongoing Corporate Accounts Commission bonus with a settlement of all outstanding bills and invoices which the company decided to pledge agreement.

Ken Wright acquired and got Stentor Connect in Northern Ireland and Stentor Plc in the Irish Republic into many large corporate businesses for voice, data and brodband such as:

1.  Boyne Valley Foods.

2.  American Airlines Call Centre Dublin.

3.  Dunnes Stores Ireland (club card data).

 and many others.

Stentor was then bought over by NI and UK based Energys / Veridion who owned Naveda.tele.com, who bought out the Stentor operation gaining a switchless reseller in Northern Ireland and a licensed switch based licensed based operator owing restricted PTO operator license in the Republic of Ireland.
